ALBUQUERQUE — Four Mexican nationals have been ordered held without bond after they were arrested in connection with a bribery case involving the illegal purchase of resident alien cards.

Special agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives made the arrests Saturday as part of a six-month joint investigation.

Luis Daniel Miramontes-Morales, 44, is accused of paying $12,000 in cash to a federal agent he believed was a corrupt government employee in exchange for four green cards.

His wife, sister and brother-in-law are charged with illegally entering the United States.

The four drove from Colorado – where they had been living – to Albuquerque on Saturday to pick up their green cards. Instead, they were arrested by federal agents.

Easter Question: Which Church Is The Top Treason Lobbyist?
The Roman Catholic Church

For pro-alien lobbying, the Catholic church (in which I was raised) is by far the most the most visible and notorious of the three. And well it should be, with a flock of 68 million members. That total represents nearly 25 percent of the world’s population.

From the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic, Catholic immigration pandering has been non-stop for years. Even the relatively recent pedophilia scandals have barely slowed down Catholic immigration enthusiasm.

Over the last five years, Catholic Cardinals—most prominently Roger Cardinal Mahony, the Archbishop of Los Angeles—have urged support for amnesty and have argued passionately against immigration enforcement legislation.

Going one-step further to prove that no statement or action endorsing immigration is too outrageous, Mahony advocates violating federal law when and if enforcement measures are ever passed.

VDARE.COM writers have criticized Mahony with increasing disgust as his advocacy for illegal immigrants has intensified and his involvement in the pedophilia cover-ups have become more obvious.

But Mahony is far from the only Catholic Cardinal voice for aliens.

As the debate over immigration rages on and on, it is clear that many Hispanics, including those here John W. Lillpoplegally, and advocate groups such as La Raza and the ACLU who work on behalf of illegal aliens, need to understand and accept the following essential truths about America:

* In 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was ratified by both the U.S. and Mexican Congresses. That Treaty ended any and all claims Mexico had to land now a part of the United States.

* Native American Indians were the original owners of the American southwest. Were there were any valid property rights claims concerning that land, such rights would belong to Native American Indians, not Mexicans.

* America is a sovereign nation, totally independent of Mexico. It has been that way for over 200 years.americanflagasglory We intend to keep it that way.

CNN.com – Transcripts
California like many other states is dealing with the harsh realities of our economic crisis. The state is proposing deep cuts in education, health care, law enforcement to help reduce that deficit, as we reported to you here yesterday. A major cause of California’s budget crisis is the federal government’s failure to secure our borders and to enforce immigration law.

Casey Wian has our report.

CASEY WIAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger blames a drop in revenue from the sub prime mortgage and housing meltdowns for the state’s $14.5 billion projected budget deficit next year.

GOV. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER (R), CALIFORNIA: It’s terrible to take money away from education and it is terrible to take money away from law enforcement and it is terrible to take money away from prisons and from health care, all of those things. But you can’t give people more money than you have.

WIAN: Another reason the Golden State doesn’t have enough money is on the other side of the balance sheet, massive spending on social services for illegal aliens totaling tens of billions of dollars, according to a December Congressional Budget Office study. California has about a quarter of the nation’s estimated 12-plus million illegal aliens. They account for 27 percent of the state’s population without health insurance. According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform, that cost taxpayers $1.4 billion in 2004. The group, which opposes illegal immigration and promotes border security estimates California spends another 1.4 billion on law enforcement for criminal illegal aliens.

FAIR says education is the largest expenditure, costing the state $7.7 billion. The Center for Immigration Studies, which supports a lower immigration policy, estimate 13 percent of California public school students are illegal aliens or their children.

STEVEN CAMAROTA, CTR. FOR IMMIGRATION STUDIES: California has other problems, not just illegal immigration, but illegal immigration is clearly a significant drain on the state budget. Illegal aliens do pay taxes, just not enough to come close to covering the education and health care and infrastructure costs associated with them.

WIAN: The Congressional Budget Office study concurs, finding the tax revenues that unauthorized immigrants generate for state and local governments do not offset the total costs of services provided to those immigrants.

Mexico Organizing May Day Marches In U.S. | Judicial Watch
Led by Mexico’s government, illegal immigrants across the nation are planning disruptive May Day marches demanding that the U.S. government halt immigration raids and that Congress pass laws to legalize them.

Hundreds of thousands of rowdy illegal aliens flooded the streets of major cities last year demanding amnesty and other rights, while threatening to shut down streets and launch economic boycotts. They burned U.S. flags and wielded racist, anti-American signs as they chanted for “derechos” (rights) in Spanish.

Although many local groups helped promote those marches, they were mainly organized by an umbrella group called National Mobilization to Support Immigrant Workers, whose motto reads: “We are humans. No one is illegal.”

Vail Colorado-Todays information & news from Vail Daily – Commentary

Less than 30 years ago, most everything in America enjoyed the moniker “All American.” Sports heroes became “All Americans.” When you bought a product, it read, “Made in America.” Everyone spoke English and raised their hands to their hearts while saying, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.”Today, millions in this country call themselves Hmong-Americans, Muslim-Americans, Korean-Americans and African-Americans. In other words, they do not hold total allegiance as an American. One of our presidential candidates is a Kenyan-American. He grew up in Indonesia until the age of 10. Barack Obama cannot be considered an All-American man by his own words.

Those people with hyphenated nationalities manifest “multiculturalism.”

By its very name, it destroys one culture by breaking it into many. It’s like throwing a baseball through a house window — fracturing it into countless pieces. The window can no longer protect that house from rain, winds or snow. Additionally, with numerous cultures come multiple languages. Linguistic chaos equals unending tension.

Former Colorado Gov. Richard Lamm said: “The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension and tragedy. Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, Lebanon — all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided.”

Parlamento Migrantes
Objectives

To unify the movement through a broad call that will allow analysis and evaluation and the ability to design programs that enhance the pro-immigrant struggle and the type of organization that Mexican leaders can create to advance and improve levels of self defense in the U.S.;

To build a bridge that will allow for the fortification of institutional dialogue with principal leaders and organizations of Mexican immigrants, with the objective of establishing an integral panorama of the complex migratory political reality and to identify actions of collaboration that will benefit the millions of Mexicans living in the U.S.;

To promote discussion and approval of a Mexican Agenda that is to be implemented in the U.S. in defense of the rights of immigrant workers and their families. The agenda should consolidate the up to now disperse political participation and construct conditions for a more equitable bilateral relation between the two countries. Moreover, to establish conditions for the humane treatment and quality of life for all Mexican people; and
To create a permanent organizational structure for lobbying in the U.S. supported and sustained by the Mexican Congress; and, to be aware of proposals processed within the Legislative body in relation to the “Proyecto de Presupuesto de Egresos para el Ejercicio Fiscal de 2008’ in relation to protection programs for Mexicans living in the US.

Illegal Alien Arabs cross Mexican Border
Border Patrol spokesperson Rene Noriega stated that the number of other-than-Mexican detentions has grown by 42 percent. Most of the non-Mexican migrants are from El Salvador and other parts of Central America, she said, but added that agents have picked up people from all over the world, including the former Soviet Union, Asia and the Middle East.

Arabs have been reported crossing the Arizona border for an unknown period. Border rancher George Morgan encounters thousands of illegals crossing his ranch on a well-used trail. He relates a holiday event: “It was Thanksgiving 1998, and I stepped outside my house and there were over a hundred ‘crossers’ in my yard. Damnedest bunch of illegals I ever saw. All of them were wearing black pants, white shirts and string ties. Maybe they were hoping to blend in,” he chuckled. “They took off, I called the Border Patrol, and a while later, an agent, Dan Green, let me know that they had caught them. He said that they were all Iranians.”

According to Border Patrol spokesperson Rob Daniels, “Ten Egyptians were arrested recently near Douglas, Arizona. Each had paid $7,000 to be brought from Guatemala into Mexico and then across the border.”

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, hours after the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, an anonymous caller led Mexican immigration agents to 41 undocumented Iraqis waiting to cross into the United States.

The Associated Press reported that Mexican immigration police detained 13 citizens of Yemen on Sept. 24, 2001, who were reportedly waiting to cross the border into Arizona. The Yemenis were arrested Sunday in Agua Prieta, across the border from Douglas. Luis Teran Balaguer, assistant head of immigration in the northern state of Sonora, said, “The evidence indicates that they have nothing to do with terrorist activities.”

For thousands of illegal immigrants caught crossing the border, it’s not their first run in with the law. Border patrol agents say up to 15% of immigrants arrested have a criminal past.

“That can be anything from as minor as a DUI to as major as a homicide even sexual predators as well,” explains Chuy Rodriguez, with Tucson Sector Border Patrol.

Weak immigrant sent home after free treatment in Ariz.
ECATEPEC, Mexico – When the motorcycle that illegal immigrant Laura Velázquez was riding slammed into a concrete wall, it cost a Phoenix hospital $478,000 to save her life.

The hospital is footing the bill. But Velázquez’s life in America is finished after hospital officials sent her back to Mexico.

Velázquez’s story is an example of what happens when uninsured illegal immigrants need medical care, a problem that costs American hospitals and taxpayers millions of dollars each year. It’s a critical issue, because a federal program aimed at reimbursing hospitals is scheduled to disappear at the end of this year.

mex-flag-shit-1.jpgIllegal aliens threaten U.S. medical system
Cristobal Silverio emigrated illegally from Mexico to Stockton, Calif., in 1997 to work as a fruit picker.

He brought with him his wife, Felipa, and three children, 19, 12 and 8 – all illegals. When Felipa gave birth to her fourth child, daughter Flor, the family had what is referred to as an “anchor baby” – an American citizen by birth who provided the entire Silverio clan a ticket to remain in the U.S. permanently.

But Flor was born premature, spent three months in the neonatal incubator and cost the San Joaquin Hospital more than $300,000. Meanwhile, oldest daughter Lourdes married an illegal alien gave birth to a daughter, too. Her name is Esmeralda. And Felipa had yet another child, Cristian.

The two Silverio anchor babies generate $1,000 per month in public welfare funding for the family. Flor gets $600 a month for asthma. Healthy Cristian gets $400. While the Silverios earned $18,000 last year picking fruit, they picked up another $12,000 for their two “anchor babies.”

While President Bush says the U.S. needs more “cheap labor” from south of the border to do jobs Americans aren’t willing to do, the case of the Silverios shows there are indeed uncalculated costs involved in the importation of such labor – public support and uninsured medical costs.

Officer.com Police Blogs & Podcasts » Illegal Immigration…
First number: approximately 20 million illegal immigrants in the United States. I had once read the number was closer to 30 million, or 1-in-10 since we’ve got more than 300 million people living in the United States now. Hmm… 20 million OR 30 million. Let me see what I can find to compare that to in an effort to put it into some type of perspective.

According to the 2005 census numbers:
The city of New York had approximately 8.1 million residents. So, the number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. is somewhere between 2.5 – 4 times the number of people living in New York. Can you imagine? EMPTY NEW YORK at least 2.5 times, and maybe some more.

Los Angeles: 3.8 million. The number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. is 5 – 7.5 times more than the entire population of Los Angeles.

Chicago: 2.8 million. Illegal immigrants in the U.S. equal as much as TEN TIMES the number of people living in Chicago.

Houston: 2 million. Number of illegal immigrants in the U.S.? Ten to fifteen times more than the number of people in Houston.

Here’s what I find scary: We could EMPTY New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix and San Antonio JUST TO EQUAL THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN THE UNITED STATES. That’s seven of the largest cities in the county. That’s just to get to the 20 million number. To get to the 30 million number we have to add the next THIRTEEN largest cities in the United States. That’s the twenty largest cities in the United States. We have enough illegal immigrants in the United States to populate our twenty largest cities. Does that cause concern to anyone else?

Second Number: If the estimated 3.5 million illegal aliens living in California were moved back to Mexico, the state would save approximately $10.2 BILLION dollars PER YEAR in school costs, hospital services and prison maintenance. Given a recent news article about a Mexican state/district that is complaining about the financial impact it’s absorbing as illegal immigrants leave the U.S. and go back to Mexico, I have to think there is some credence to this.

Third Number: In Denver approximately 12,000 gang members would be taken out of the population if the illegal aliens were caught and sent back to their own country or countries. What does 12,000 less gang members translate into in saved police labor dollars?

Fourth Number: If no more employers hired illegal aliens to work “off the books” or “under the table” the income taxes paid on the legitimate incomes earned by American Citizens would increase federal government revenue by approximately $401 BILLION dollars. ANOTHER approximately $4 Billion would be further collected by state, county and local governments.

Fifth number: Approximately 15,000 MS-13 gang members who are responsible for distributing about $130 Billion worth of illegal drugs EACH YEAR would be gone. In Los Angeles alone about 20,000 members of the 18th Street Gang would be removed.

Final number: If we didn’t have 20 to 30 million illegal aliens living in the United States, earning money (non-taxed), and sending that money OUT of the country, we’d keep an additional $80 Billion dollars within our own economy.

Grandpa Lake’s Weblog » Blog Archive » Christian States of America?
Illegal aliens are a large force in America today. Backed by leftist politicians, allegedly American, La Raza has declared a civil war intended to found the Mexican state of Aztlan in the same place that the southwestern United States now stands. These same leftist politicians declare places of sanctuary for these illegals. Our Federal Government refuses to secure our borders. Those in power do not value the territorial integrity of the United States of America. Let us use these forces to establish the Christian States of America.

Conservative talk radio hosts are calling for their listeners to encourage illegal aliens to move to California and other places that have declared sanctuary for them. Let us strengthen their hand. When these illegals are strong enough, they will declare their independence from America. (The border of Aztlan does not need to be the border that they have drawn, which is what the United States took in the Mexican War.) Will the American government go to war to prevent this take over?

Note that all of the candidates for President of the United States in the 2008 election favor legalization of the illegals in one form or another. Two of the three hate our military. Will the military be used to suppress such an insurrection? Would a military solution be successful? Will President Barack Obama, President Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi call on Americans to lay down their lives to take Aztlan back from Mexico? It’s not likely.

Federal Observer Articles – Federal Observer
Operation Wetback was a repatriation project of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service to remove illegal Mexican immigrants “wetbacks” from the Southwest. During the first decades of the twentieth century, the majority of migrant workers who crossed the border illegally did not have adequate protection against exploitation by American farmers. As a result of the Good Neighbor Policy, Mexico and the United States began negotiating an accord to protect the rights of Mexican agricultural workers. Continuing discussions and modifications of the agreement were so successful that the Congress chose to formalize the “temporary” program into the Bracero program, authorized by Public Law 78. In the early 1940s, while the program was being viewed as a success in both countries, Mexico excluded Texas from the labor-exchange program on the grounds of widespread violation of contracts, discrimination against migrant workers, and such violations of their civil rights as perfunctory arrests for petty causes. Oblivious to the Mexican charges, some grower organizations in Texas continued to hire illegal Mexican workers and violate such mandates of PL 78 as the requirement to provide workers transportation costs from and to Mexico, fair and lawful wages, housing, and health services. World War II and the postwar period exacerbated the Mexican exodus to the United States, as the demand for cheap agricultural laborers increased. Graft and corruption on both sides of the border enriched many Mexican officials as well as unethical “coyote” freelancers in the United States who promised contracts in Texas for the unsuspecting Bracero. Studies conducted over a period of several years indicate that the Bracero program increased the number of illegal aliens in Texas and the rest of the country. Because of the low wages paid to legal, contracted braceros, many of them skipped out on their contracts either to return home or to work elsewhere for better wages as wetbacks.

A bill to cut off state funding for so-called sanctuary cities and transfer the funds to local police training for immigration enforcement, was introduced yesterday by Assemblyman John J. Benoit, R- Bermuda Dunes.

AB 2601, the Illegal Immigration Sanctuary City Ban, would remove vehicle licensing fee funding from sanctuary cities and deposit those funds into an account to fund law enforcement training under a provision of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act.

“It’s outrageous that some cities in California intentionally promote illegal immigration,” Benoit said. “Worst of all, these sanctuary cities provide refuge to international gangs by leaving the police powerless against already-deported criminal aliens. My common-sense measure would reward local governments who cooperate with federal immigration enforcement and train their cops to report felony offenders to the proper authorities.”

A sanctuary city is defined as any municipality that adopts a policy not requiring their employees, including law enforcement officers, to report known illegal aliens present in their city or county to federal immigration officials.

According to a 2006 report by the Congressional Research Service, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Fresno and Sonoma County are sanctuary
cities or counties.

Currently, fines range from $2,000 to $10,000 depending on the offense. The agency says some penalties could include at least six months in jail.

Mexican lawlessness threatens American Second Amendment rights

AZ AG Goddard teams with Mexican officials to hamstring Americans

In a misdirected effort to target Mexican coyotes transporting illegal aliens and drug smuggling rings, Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard has announced his intention to forge agreements between U.S. and Mexican prosecutors.

The East Valley Tribune reports as part of the agreements, Goddard said he will push for changes in federal gun laws to make it easier to track arms dealers who smuggle weapons into Mexico.

The change would require people who buy multiple rifles in a single transaction to file a disclosure form, similar to one now required for multiple handgun purchases. Goddard said the law would only be effective if passed at the federal level, but acknowledged that the idea is “going nowhere” in Congress.

Obviously, this alliance raised more than a few questions: Why should Americans have restrictions placed upon their Second Amendment rights in order for Mexican officials to address criminality in their country?

Since the Mexican government aids and abets the illegal entry of its citizens into the United States, what indications are there that such activities will stop? Notorious corruption among authorities in that country is renowned.

The crime wave should be addressed from South of the border. Where is the evidence that Americans are the major culprits in Mexican criminal activity? Illegal immigration into Mexico, as well as using falsified documents, are felonies in that country.Goddard, who acknowledges the restrictions are “going nowhere,” appears to be catering to the Mexican government as a means of garnering local Mexican votes as he proceeds along his career path.

Goddard, whose father, Sam Goddard, served as Arizona governor from 1965 to 1967, was thwarted by Fife Symington in his dream to follow in his father’s footsteps. He obviously still has high hopes.

“Many liberals hear talk of national culture and shout ‘Nativist!’ first and ask questions later, if at all. They believe it is a sign of their patriotism that they hold fast to the idea that we are a ‘nation of immigrants’ — forgetting that we are also a nation of immigrants who willingly assimilated and became Americans.” — Jonah Goldberg

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — About 100 people gathered at the State House Monday to protest illegal immigration and call on legislators to pass a more strict reform bill.

A conference committee continues meeting this week to work out differences between the House and Senate immigration bills. Both require employers to check the legal status of their workers.

The House bill doesn’t cover private businesses. Critics say the Senate version includes a loophole in how employers can check citizenship.

Contractors say they’re losing business to competitors who undercut their bids by hiring illegal workers.

Freedom Fighter Radio’s Jim Stachowiak of Augusta, Georgia, stood on a Mexican flag Monday while waving a sign that read “Americans First.” He says people should be stockpiling ammunition because he fears martial law.

Blatant Racism by the Pro-Amnesty Illegal crowd( we mean you La Raza and all the pro-hispanic anti american groupsBy Daneen G. Peterson, Ph.D
If eighty to ninety percent of the 18-20 million illegal aliens here in America today, had come from Australia, Canada, and England instead of actually coming from Hispanic and Latino countries, would La Raza (The Race), LULAC, MALDEF, MEChA, and the ACLU, et al, be loudly advocating for open borders, protesting and demanding that illegal aliens receive driver’s licenses, in-state tuition, and the end to Prop. 200?(1)(2)(3)(4) Why are these groups so blatant in their support to keep our sovereign borders wide open so that people of their race, can enter America with impunity? Why do they demand that those same, mostly Hispanic and Latino illegal “immigrants” remain here unmolested and protected by ‘sanctuary policies’ and rail against any attempt to end the massive amounts of ‘public benefits’ they receive. Could it be pure racism that motivates them? Could that be the reason?
