It is shameful……hardly any time in his office; spending time running to any photo ops he can manage; travels for pleasure at taxpayers expense; had a cute little affair with a news reporter covering him for her paper while married and his wife had throat cancer; marched with the illegal aliens beginning with their first march when they carried Mexican flags demanding equal benefits and entitlements as American citizens; cheered them and encouraged illegals from the podiums at the marches; he supports illegal immigration; Villaraigosa was the only California politician who dared to join in the 1996 March on Washington that demanded amnesty for illegal aliens; LOS ANGELES — Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez are among those expected to join immigrant-rights activists Thursday for a march and rally to denounce the actions of Los Angeles riot police at a May Day rally at MacArthur Park culminating with Villaraigosa stating that MacArthur Park was a safe place to be 24/7.

With complains running rampant because of his absence from duties of being Mayor, he told Hillary during her campaign he would knock on doors for her as long as it took and his time was all hers.

After UCLA, Villaraigosa attended the People’s College of Law (PCL), a “community-run law school” in Los Angeles, which is unaccredited through the State Bar.[7] Villaraigosa failed the California Bar Exam in each of four attempts, and thus remains unlicensed to practice law

Los Angeles, Alta California – June 16, 2008 – (ACN) Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa signed an agreement during his trip to Israel that greatly endangers the security of all Angelenos and of travellers who utilize the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The agreement signed on Friday will allow right-wing Israeli Likud Party operatives complete access to all areas of the LAX under the pretext of making “expert” periodic reviews of anti-terrorist measures at the world’s fifth busiest airport. The agreement also calls for city taxpayers to pay three Israelis $1000.00 each per day plus all travel, lodging and other expenses while making “security” inspections at the LAX. ACORN rent-A-mob demands more welfare housing in L.A.

The vote fraud factory known as ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is apparently supporting Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s crazy push for $5 billion in so-called affordable housing…

And last, but not least, “Born to Raise Hell” – at UCLA

Antonio Villaraigosa, ( Tony Villara) one-time juvenile delinquent still tattooed with the slogan “Born to Raise Hell,” entered the UCLA campus as a transfer student from East Los Angeles Community College in 1972. Known then simply as Tony Villar, he would not successfully graduate by the time he left in 1975.(1) But Villar did leave a wide swath of influence in other, more radical ways.

While on campus, Villar joined the UCLA chapter of Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA), and was part of its leadership by 1974. MEChA had only been founded as a regional movement in 1969, and in many ways, the UCLA chapter, and the radical Chicano student left today, is a direct product of Villar’s work then.

Fellow MEChA alumni from the period remember Villaraigosa’s exploits well: “He was one of the guys that would go out there and start the slogans because he was the loudest one,” said Arturo Chavez, a fellow activist in college. “He was one of the people who would make sure people were riled up.”

Chavez underemphasizes what young Tony Villar did on the UCLA campus. Archives from the campus newspaper The Daily Bruin of 1974 have revealed that Villar led a campaign to ensure an advisory role in the UCLA Chicano Studies Center for a communist Chicano community group, and successfully engineered the dismissal of the Chicano director of the Center who stood in the way of this goal.

As first reported May 9, 1974, a group of approximately 50 Chicano students (out of the 1,500 with Hispanic surnames on campus at that time) called on the Chicano Studies Center Director Rudolfo ‘Rudy’ Alvarez to resign from his post. Villar accused Alvarez of “trying to alter the concept behind Chicano studies.” The article paraphrased Villar’s further accusation “that the center has drifted away from its initial direction of research conducted in conjunction with the community.”

After the protest by the group of students, the Bruin further reported: “When CSC staff members arrived at the center Monday morning, they found locks inside and out of the offices jammed with toothpicks and matches, file cabinets also jammed, and the mouthpieces of the phones removed. It is not known who was responsible or whether this was connected to the demonstration Friday. Leaders of the demonstration deny any knowledge of the incident.”

Not content with petty vandalism, Villar’s group engineered, with the cooperation of a like-minded staff, a shut-down of the Center with the stated threat that it would not to end until Alvarez resigned.

But it is the article from June 25, 1974 that explains the real roots of the controversy and shows the true agenda that belied Villar’s posturing about Alvarez’s supposed “lack of leadership and incapability as an administrator

The Daily Bruin on that date reported that “Chicano students are considering filing a class action suit against Rodolfo Alvarez, Chicano Studies Center (CSC) director, according to student leader Raoul Garcia.

“Students criticized Alvarez’ mishandling of the Steering Committee in 1973. “Where at one time the Steering Committee composed of students, faculty, and community people was the policy making body of the Center, now Rudy is its sole dictator,” said Tony Villar, another leader in the movement against Alvarez.

“Both Villar and Garcia attacked the Alvarez-directed CSC for working only with government-sponsored drug programs “instead of community organizations like the National Committee to Free Los Tres.””

The “National Committee to Free Los Tres,” it must be understood, was a Los Angeles group created by former MEChistas to defend three members of the militant Chicano organization Casa Carnalismo who were convicted of assaulting a federal narcotics officer posing as a drug dealer in East Los Angeles. Even more telling about this “community organization” that Villar favored is that by 1974, a Marxist-Leninist faction emerged within the NCFLT seeking to deemphasize the social- service aspect of the organization, and hoping to transform its parent group Casa Carnalismo into a “revolutionary vanguard” dedicated to the “liberation of the Mexican people.”(5) In a direct and unmistakable way, Villar was advocating for nothing less than a Communist place at the table within UCLA’s Chicano Studies Center.

The Bruin ended the story with a final quote from Villar: “As Chicanos going to University they’re demanding relevant education that they have some input into.”

The term “relevant education” is Orwellian code used by minority political activists to describe their vision of a network of non- academic interests that both feed from, and direct, the university. The ideal network includes, but is not limited to, labor unions, minority racial affiliation groups, and members of the public taking direct action to aggregate political power. Stripping away Villar’s self-justification about ‘relevant education,’ it becomes clear that the fight was a proxy power grab by militant Chicano organizations. Their goal: to turn an academic unit at a proud university into a mere ideological factory to support and undergird a drive for exclusive minority power accumulation.

Villar was ultimately successful in his fight for his vision for a relevant education. On July 19, 1974, the Daily Bruin announced in a brief notice that Professor Alvarez had resigned from his directorship following internal private deliberations with higher administration figures.

Villar’s goals, and the actions which made it possible, are instructive in understanding the man who desires to be the next mayor of Los Angeles. Not only did Villar himself harbor radical ambitions, he proved willing to destroy both an innocent man and a fellow Chicano by turning his staff, his students, and eventually, his employer, against him.

flag-waveThe Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible death threat against Sheriff Joe Arpaio that authorities said was written on a demonstrator’s sign.

At about 9:30 a.m. Saturday,Veterans Affairs police spotted an unidentified man wearing a black ski mask, a black law enforcement-style raid T-shirt and rubber surgical gloves preparing to march Saturday in a protest against Arpaio and his immigration enforcement, said Deputy Doug Matteson, a sheriff’s spokesman.

The man was carrying a loaded Glock semi-automatic pistol handcuffs, and a sign with the statement: “Death to Arpaio equals freedom for America,” Matteson said.

Veterans Affairs officers saw the man attempt to park in the hospital lot at 650 E. Indian School Road and blocked him.

Matteson said the protestor didn’t cooperate, so police confronted him and he fought with them.

The unidentified protestor was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and possession of a concealed firearm. He was not taken to jail.

Officers confiscated the man’s pistol, a mace canister filled with dye and a money clip that appeared to be a Los Angeles Police Department badge at first glance, Matteson said.

Sheriff’s officials could not provide the man’s name or other identifying information Sunday but Matteson said deputies were continuing to investigate the threat.

This isn’t the first threat against the five-term sheriff.Arpaio has weathered dozens of them during his time as “America’s toughest sheriff.”

Matteson said that last year, the Sheriff’s Office even investigated death threats from other countries including Mexico and Central America.

A father and son are being held on murder and immigration charges in the death of a gang member.

The Mexican men are two of seven illegal immigrant murder suspects from Houston detained since mid-December.

Police have filed murder charges against Angel Val Verde-Guzman, 36, and his son, Yovanni Val Verde-Aldama, 19, in the Feb. 21 killing of Walter Alfredo Ventura, 20, outside a southwest Houston nightclub.

Ventura reportedly was a member of the SPPL, the Spanish initials for the “We are few but crazy” street gang, and Val Verde-Aldama was a member of the “Brown Pride” gang, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The father and son told police they had received information that Ventura had shot Val Verde-Aldama on Christmas morning in 2007. ICE officials said the father and son “allegedly took matters into their own hands when Ventura was spotted” sitting in a car outside the club last month. Both men allegedly shot Ventura.

In December, Carlos Garcia-Hernandez, a 19-year-old member of the “Houstone” street gang, was arrested here and deported to Mexico by ICE agents to face charges of killing two women robbed at an ATM. Also that month, South Carolina authorities extradited two Houston MS-13 gang members — Josue Otoneil Benitez, 20, and Martin Frias Teran, 34, both originally from Honduras — for allegedly killing a Guatemalan man in West Columbia, S.C.

Houston has 89 active street gangs, ICE reported.

Earlier this week, agents from ICE and U.S. Marshal’s Office detained brothers Carlos and Cesar Reyes, both illegal immigrants from Honduras, at a Houston apartment after they fled a New Jersey horse farm where they are suspected of the Feb. 28 slaying of two co-workers.

CAMPO, Calif. — Two men are being held in federal custody for allegedly smuggling 25 Mexi Cans through the use of two semi trucks Thursday night in Campo.

According to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, at about 10:30 p.m., Thursday, Border Patrol agents were led to a parking lot at the Golden Acorn Casino as they pursued a group of suspected illegal spics foot.

The group boarded a cargo trailer through a trap door on the undercarriage. Agents apprehended a total of 17 suspected illegal shitheads found hiding inside the trailer.

As agents conducted surveillance of the parking lot, they observed a group of eight additional suspected illegal spics enter the cab of a second semi truck, which did not have an attached cargo trailer.

At about 11:45 p.m., agents stopped both semi trucks as they were being driven out of the parking lot.

Agents arrested the eight suspected illegal spics and the two male U.S. citizens driving the semi trucks.

The two drivers are currently awaiting charges for alien smuggling, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release.

mex-flag-shitCriminal gangs in the USA have swelled to an estimated 1 million members responsible for up to 80% of crimes in communities across the nation, according to a gang threat assessment compiled by federal officials.

The major findings in a report by the Justice Department’s National Gang Intelligence Center, which has not been publicly released, conclude gangs are the “primary retail-level distributors of most illicit drugs” and several are “capable” of competing with major U.S.-based Mexican drug-trafficking organizations.

“A rising number of U.S.-based gangs are seemingly intent on developing working relationships” with U.S. and foreign drug-trafficking organizations and other criminal groups to “gain direct access to foreign sources of illicit drugs,” the report concludes.

The gang population estimate is up 200,000 since 2005.

Bruce Ferrell, chairman of the Midwest Gang Investigators Association, whose group monitors gang activity in 10 states, says the number of gang members may be even higher than the report’s estimate.

“We’ve seen an expansion for the last 10 years,” says Ferrell, who has reviewed the report. “Each year, the numbers are moving forward.”

‘Growing threat’ on the move

The report says about 900,000 gang members live “within local communities across the country,” and about 147,000 are in U.S. prisons or jails.

“Most regions in the United States will experience increased gang membership … and increased gang-related criminal activity,” the report concludes, citing a recent rise in gangs on the campuses of suburban and rural schools.

Among the report’s other findings:

•Last year, 58% of state and local law enforcement agencies reported that criminal gangs were active in their jurisdictions, up from 45% in 2004.

•More gangs use the Internet, including encrypted e-mail, to recruit and to communicate with associates throughout the U.S. and other countries.

•Gangs, including outlaw motorcycle groups, “pose a growing threat” to law enforcement authorities along the U.S.-Canadian border. The U.S. groups are cooperating with Canadian gangs in various criminal enterprises, including drug smuggling.

Assistant FBI Director Kenneth Kaiser, the bureau’s criminal division chief, says gangs have largely followed the migration paths of immigrant laborers.

He says the groups are moving to avoid the scrutiny of larger metropolitan police agencies in places such as Los Angeles. “These groups were hit hard in L.A.” by law enforcement crackdowns, “but they are learning from it,” Kaiser says.

MS-13 far-flung from L.A. incubator

One group that continues to spread despite law enforcement efforts is the violent Salvadoran gang known as MS-13.

Michael Sullivan, the departing director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, says the gang’s dependence on shocking violence to advance extortion, prostitution and other criminal enterprises has frustrated attempts to infiltrate and disrupt the insular group’s activities.

“MS-13′s foothold in the U.S. is expanding,” Sullivan says.

Kaiser says the street gang is in 42 states, up from 33 in 2005. “Enforcement efforts have been effective to a certain extent, but they (gang members) keep moving,” he says.

MS-13 is the abbreviation for the gang also known as Mara Salvatrucha. The group gained national prominence in the 1980s in Los Angeles, where members were linked to incidents involving unusual brutality.

Since then, it has formed cells or “cliques” across the U.S., says Aaron Escorza, chief of the FBI’s MS-13 National Gang Task Force.

The task force was launched in 2004 amid concerns about the gang’s rapid spread. Gang members were targeted in broad investigations similar to those used to bust organized crime groups from Russia and Italy.

Among law enforcement efforts:

•Omaha: The last of 24 MS-13 members swept up on federal firearms charges and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine were sentenced last year in the largest bust since the group emerged there in 2004.

The gang’s strength dimmed as a result, but the nine-month probe did not eradicate the group, says Ferrell, who assisted in the investigation.

•Nashville: During the last two years, 14 MS-13 members pleaded guilty on charges ranging from murder to obstruction of justice.

Davidson County, Tenn., Sheriff Daron Hall, whose jurisdiction includes Nashville, says MS-13 started growing there about five years ago, corresponding with an influx of immigrant labor.

Last April, county officials began checking the immigration status of all arrestees. “We know we have removed about 100 gang members, including MS-13,” to U.S. authorities for deportation, Hall says.

•Maryland: Earlier this month, federal authorities said they had convicted 42 MS-13 members since 2005. More than half were charged in a “racketeering conspiracy” in which members participated in robberies and beatings and arranged the murders of other gang members, according to Justice Department documents.

In one case, Maryland gang members allegedly discussed killing rivals with an MS-13 leader calling on a cellphone from a Salvadoran jail, the documents say.

Escorza says a “revolving door” on the border has kept the gang’s numbers steady — about 10,000 in the U.S. — even as many illegal immigrant members are deported.

The FBI, which has two agents in El Salvador to help identify and track members in Central America and the United States, plans to dispatch four more agents to Guatemala and Honduras, Escorza says.

“They evolve and adapt,” he says. “They know what law enforcement is doing. Word of mouth spreads quickly.”

QUEENSBURY — A remark about a man’s Mexican heritage led to a fight that ended with two men being stabbed at a Stony Creek home just before Christmas, according to court records.

The man who police believe was responsible for the Dec. 23 stabbing, J. Guadalupe Bernal Sanchez, 35, of Hudson, told police he fought with a man he knew only as “Lenny” because he “gave me (grief) about being Mexican,” according to a statement filed in Warren County Court.

The men squared off outside of 232 Warrensburg Road, where they had been partying. But, Bernal Sanchez told Warren County sheriff’s officers several other men jumped in and began punching and kicking him.

Police said he told officers he took a folding knife from his pocket and stabbed the closest man. “I was so pissed off I took the knife and poked him in the stomach,” Bernal Sanchez said, according to police. In the statement, police quoted him as saying he stabbed one man, but two suffered abdominal injuries in the incident.

They were identified in court records as Leonard J. Allen, 25, of Corinth and Luke A. Phenes, 22, whose address was not available.

Both men suffered abdominal wounds that police said were not life-threatening and both have been released from Glens Falls Hospital.

It is unclear if Allen is the “Lenny” that Bernal Sanchez said made a derogatory remark about him.

A Warren County grand jury has indicted Bernal Sanchez on two felony counts each of first-degree assault and second-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a weapon.

Bernal Sanchez is being represented by lawyer Tucker Stanclift, who said he was still looking into the circumstances of the incident and had no comment on what defense would be pursued.

He did say, though, that he thinks it is strange that Bernal Sanchez is said to have signed a written confession when he does not speak or write English.

“It’s a pretty remarkable statement for someone who can’t read or write English,” Stanclift said. “I was surprised to see that statement. He understands very little English.”

Bernal Sanchez is in the country illegally, and faces deportation, officials said.

Another man who was arrested after the fight, Israel G. Arcos, 18, of Lake Luzerne, was charged that night with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after he was found to have a small quantity of cocaine. Arcos, a friend of Bernal Sanchez’s, is also a native of Mexico who is in the country illegally.

State Police also charged Arcos Wednesday with the misdemeanors of sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl in Lake Luzerne.

Both men are being held in Warren County Jail pending further court action.

LONDON (Reuters) – A Mexican national who told airport immigration he was visiting Britain to see a friend was swiftly deported after a search unearthed a good-luck card in his luggage wishing him well for his “new life in the UK.”

UK Border Agency officers at Manchester Airport routinely stopped the 40-year-old chef after he arrived on a flight from Los Angeles last Friday.

The man told them he was on a short trip to see a friend who was opening a restaurant in the area.

“However, a search of the passenger’s baggage revealed a huge collection of Mexican food recipes and a good-luck card from his church wishing him well for his ‘new life in the UK,’” the agency said in a statement.

The man later admitted he had intended to work at the restaurant illegally and had planned to bring his family over from America if he liked it.

He was deported the next day.

“We will not tolerate people coming here to work illegally,” the agency said. “People wanting to visit the UK must play by the rules. Those who do not are sent back.”

Hasta la vista, baby
